DESCRIPTION
Regardless of all the efforts made by those responsible for the safe handling of hazardous chemicals, history shows that it cannot be ruled out that incidents can still occur that can evolve into even catastrophic situations.
Therefore, preparations must be made to respond to such events effectively in order to minimise the physical impacts on people and the economic impacts associated with material damage. These incidents demonstrate the need to ensure an adequate and continuous level of skills and attention to prevent such events and to cope with such emergencies should they occur.
The course provides the technical focus for those responsible for planning and coping with emergency situations that hopefully will never happen but are nevertheless possible.
AGENDA
Exam/Certificate
An exam is foreseen at the end of the course. Upon passing the aforementioned, a Certificate of Completion of the course will be issued.
